Chinese week

On the last week of school it was china week we did lots of activities first we did Chinese writing then we did some fan dancing I found fan dancing hard  for our third activities we did ghu jong is what i think it is called it was like a guitar but sounded cooler we learnt how to play marry had a little lamb it was hard to learn then we learnt tai chi there were moves like hold the ball tame the horse it was tiring.

      

Otaki Youth Space

 On Wednesday some members of the council came to ask us some questions about a youth space in Otaki, and what we think it should have they asked what we think it should have like spaces and activities. like basketball and a chill area there could be a Nerf night or a gaming night. I think that the youth place should be in the town because we can go there after school. I would want it to be a nice chill area where everyone can hangout.  I hope that the youth place will be a fun area to hangout. I think it should include a snack bar a gaming area a chill area .

My Tapa Art

 Week 7 was Tongan language week. To celebrate we made our own Tapa Art. We used brown paper and vivid dye.  

                                   The steps we followed 

1 we researched our designs

2 sketched some ideas

3 created our final designs and used vivid 

4 we scrunched up our paper and put dye on it

the reason i made shoes is because I was sitting at my house and heard the waves of the ocean and I picked this type of shoe because it is one of my favourite type of shoes .
